  1. We played with 2P.
The game started with both players growing towards the middle. Then conflict started and the player with the highest income wins. No chance to beat that.

    Question:
if you conquer another settlement, TOPII (7.II) says you gain one area and the other loses one.
Does this also work with the TOPI (6.1) saying you only go up if you build a road?

No conquering, because no military module (4) present. You mark all build roads on the chart and you gain income depending on the streets build. So the „fight“ is only taking away majorities from each other. The second player starts with 20 Marks more than the first player and had the choice of the first (best) city. The main strategy in this world is fighting for the highest income (right!), but you also have the privilege cards to change your strategy.
This is a very straightforward world because income and VPs are working in the same direction.

      • thanks for the fast reply!
I now see I posted this wrong, I played 674, not 673. (can I correct this?)
Yeah, we figured that out that VP and income are working in the same direction.
Military made it possible to lock out the other, which gave me a less positive feeling. But short games, so next world will be better.
